This is the first 6 layered cube of the V-CUBE™ series. Meet the challenge to solve this unique existent V-CUBE 6. It requires attention, strong effort and serious strategic thinking but it will give you back constant joy & satisfaction!

V-CUBE™ products are manufactured under the V-CUBE™ technology, invented and patented worldwide by the Greek engineer Panagiotis Verdes. V-CUBE™ technology made possible the construction of cubes, of an unlimited number of layers providing safe and smooth rotation.

At the same time, V-CUBE™ technology has resulted to the design, construction & industrial production of smoother, safer and sturdier cubes of existing sizes (V-CUBE 5).

*** Cubes become less stable as the number of pieces (cubes) increase in rotational puzzles. On the higher number of pieces cubes such as 6x6 cubes and 7x7 cubes even slight forcing can cause the cube pieces to come apart. This is not a defect it is a normal characteristic that is associated with higher piece cubes . If this happens please look at the links we have enclosed here to help put the cube back together. ***

This puzzle surprised me the first time I started playing with it. Although it'll solve using the same rules as an even numbered, many layered, rubik's-like puzzle, it has a function where the layers will sort of Snap into place after every turn. Sometimes you'll even feel that they layers didn't "catch" and you have to twist it around a bit to get it back into the grooves. If you take the puzzle apart you'll see how they did this, but it's not a very satisfying feeling. It just seems to make it more difficult to turn quickly and will result in pops that become difficult to put back together unless you're familiar with the internal "core" pieces. Still a fun puzzle, more challenging than the 4 or 5, but not as much of a major accomplishment in performance as the V-Cube 7.

The V-cube 6 is an interesting puzzle. It has a strange 'clicky' feeling to it, so it isn't great for speed solving. But as far as even numbered cubes are concerned it's a major brain workout. I would just go for a 7x7, unless you, like me, need the whole collection.
