The Feliks Pillow is not especially designed for speedcubing but as an all rounder puzzle that is fun to play, with smooth as silk twists can be turned quickly and the new patented spherical centre core allows shortcuts without popping.
Feliks' personal best with his Feliks pillow is around 7.5 seconds and getting faster. The pillowed shape lets one see up to five colors at once and feel the sixth back colour if it is white, which may be an advantage in normal fun play.

This puzzle turns beautifully and looks stunning. The one problem I have with it is that two of the colors (pink and red, I think) are a bit close together, and I kept getting them confused. I actually took a felt tip pen and drew X's on one color so I could tell them apart. I also sometimes find that my hand slips off the cube in the middle of a turn due to the pillowy shape.
This puzzle uses the MF8 Legend ball-core, which allows very fast turning and incredible corner-cutting. It is a normal pillowed 3x3x3 solving-wise. It carries the signature of Feliks Zemdegs, 3x3x3 solve world-record holder, and comes with excellent fluorescent stickers. However, this puzzle is illegal for use in tournaments, since its pillowed shape allows the user to see more of the puzzle than normal from one angle. If you plan to participate in formal cubing tournaments, purchase a different 3x3x3 (MF8 Legend, DaYan ZhanChi, etc.).
