Jean-Claude Constantin has taken the packing puzzle to the extreme with the Heptominoes puzzle. Besides the staggering number of pieces, the solution also involves pieces rotated at a 45 degree angle to the frame. In case the challenge of putting all of the pieces into one 14-inch (36-cm) frame isn't enough, an additional smaller frame is included into which any 7 pieces can be packed.
Made using a large amount of laser-cut wood by Jean-Claude Constantin. Jean-Claude Constantin lives in Germany, where he designs and manufactures many different wood and metal puzzles, as well as magic tricks and other intellectual toys and games.
