First, take all 16 tiles from the little box. You will see that the bottom of the box is printed with 16 squares, each one showing one of the 5 symbols. Step by step, fill the box with the tiles while you pay attention to the following rules:
A tile must not be put on a square which shows the same symbol as the tile. Also directly adjoining squares are not allowed to have this symbol either. If the neighboring square is already covered with a tile, the visible portion is what counts.
The problem can only be solved when you find both the right arrangement of the tiles as well as the right sequence with which the tiles can be placed.
