This money holder is constructed well. It's just not fun to play with. I suppose it's a puzzle - the trick is to figure out how to open it. The problem is this: the box is packaged and shipped with the lid off, so you have to close the box before you can actually try to open it. But with the lid open, the trick to the puzzle is revealed. So there's no mystery as to how the puzzle works. So if you intend to give this away as a money holder, it may serve its purpose. I did try to open the box following the instructions that were included, and I wasn't successful. I may have to try the other reviewer's method.

I am 12 and it only took me 30 min to figure it out!!I
some open it by breaking it but i did it the right way.
~first find the right side and stand it
~ then grab a bar magnet and slide it slowly upward
~let go and look to see if the metal pieces are still there. if they are that's good.
~do the same w/ the other side and then open it up to get ur treasure.
sadly mine did not have any thing it it. Ow well!!
have fun and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
