An odd nine-piece assembly puzzle. Each piece has a hole, a peg, or both. In order to assemble the puzzle, all pegs must go in a hole. As you can see in the photo, however, some holes face outward and the cube is not solid.
Designed by Dieter Matthes and made by Philos. Philos is a German puzzle manufacturer that started in 1996 as a manufacturer and distributor of toys. They make a wide variety of wooden puzzles, as well as some less common strategy games, playing cards, and dice.
