I've had this for a few years and never solved it until I tried today, It took about 15 minutes, but I'll be honest, the ring fell off while I wasn't really looking. So, I have no idea how I did it...and now I don't know how to put it back on!!
Great puzzle though. It's the only one I've ever had that stumped me for any length of time.
