This is like the Gear Cube but they have made it even tougher. This one will have you stumped. Now you can change any piece with any other piece on the cube. A challenge you won't want to put down.

This puzzle is excellent. If you can solve the Gear Cube, you'll be ready to take a stab at the Gear Cube Extreme... but it really is much more difficult. It has fewer gears than the Gear Cube... in fact, the four non-geared edges allow you to make quarter-turns along one axis. But this actually makes the puzzle much, much more difficult. It combines the gearing fun of the Gear Cube with the ridiculous difficulty (mine said "12 out of 10" for difficulty on the box...) of other puzzles. Buy it to impress your friends and/or if you want a very difficult puzzle.
