At the end of the 19th century, Britain experienced a huge puzzle craze. I managed to pick a number of the puzzles famous during that period in flea markets, despite their rarity. Based on a puzzle that reappeared later in America, this is one that we have successfully revived in its new form. Keeping in mind the idea of intersecting the 'flags' should help in tackling this one. I only hope you enjoy the final 'release' as much as I do.

Perfect starter puzzle. Sturdy, artsy and could get a beginner hooked. chris
Very sturdy puzzle that is easy to solve but still requires some of those puzzle-solving skills like perception, forward-thinking and stepping back to get ahead. Very compact and handles (and looks) good.
Good puzzle to start your friends out with. Not very hard, but fun to manipulate.
Wonderful puzzle. It's very solvable, perfect to leave out for friends to try. I left this on the table at a barbeque and people were playing with it all day. I don't think it ever went back on the table. The first time I did it this puzzle took me a while, but after that it's pretty easy and fun to reproduce the solution.
