A wonderfully versatile packing puzzle designed by Georg Pfäffinger. There are twelve pieces in this puzzle: eight are made up of 8 cube-units, and the other four are made up of 4 cube-units. The first objective is to take all twelve pieces and fit them into the box provided. Furthermore, any three pieces can be formed into a regular cuboid (rectangular prism).
One suggested game is to hand out three pieces each to four friends and see who can make a cuboid (rectangular prism) shape the fastest.
Made in several woods by Philos. Philos is a German puzzle manufacturer that started in 1996 as a toy manufacturing and distribution company.
They make a wide variety of wooden puzzles, as well as some less common strategy games, playing cards, and dice.
