Product Info

Manufactured with 3mm nickel plated wire, The Whale is not an animal to be reckoned with. Can you find a way to free the handle and put it back afterwards? This is very cute design for a wire puzzle with a recognizable shape. Created by Dick Hess, who also has a few other nice puzzles in our PuzzleMaster Wire collection. Comes in a Clam Shell packaging, ideal to store your puzzle after playing with it.

A nice design that I found quite difficult to solve. After finally solving it I looked at the solution and noticed the printed solution was different in one place, probably simpler. This move (step 4 in the printed solution) I find difficult to do even with the page in front of me. Interestingly, when reassembling, this move is not tricky, and this was the key for me to be able to reverse it reliably. Well done Mr. Hess!
