Free the Two is the third puzzle in Brian Kren’s “Free the #” series and a clear step up from Free the Five and Free the One. Using a higher‑quality printer, this version allows for a bigger, more precise puzzle with fewer design limits.
The goal is simple to state but tricky to achieve: release two coins. Both the coins and their exit slots are visible from the start, but don’t be fooled—this puzzle will challenge your assumptions. Even after freeing the coins, there’s the reset to tackle.
Following the series’ signature style, it features purple accents, moving white parts, and multiple coin slots. But it’s much larger, measuring 12.5 cm × 12.5 cm × 8 cm and weighing over 1.5 pounds. It takes around 25 hours to print and includes more than 80 non‑PLA parts.
Like the rest of the series, this puzzle is 3D‑printed and hand-assembled, so minor imperfections may appear. It contains small pieces and is not suitable for children. We recommend solving it on a flat surface.
