Karakuri Work Kit - Fukiage (Blow Up) Trick Box

This wooden box functions as a cigarette box when completed.

Fukiage box was developed for the 5th annual "Karakuri Puzzle in Hakone"in 2015.  It is formerly a traditional work of the Hakone / Odawara district. It is a cigarette holder and dispenser.  You put the "cigarettes" inside before hand. When you lift the inner box up, then down, one cigarette pops up. However, the real cigarette has been substituted with wooden dowels.
