Inka Box is a compact mechanical puzzle designed by the legendary puzzle creator Oskar van Deventer. Inspired by ancient Inca symbolism, this small cube hides a tiny treasure inside.

The puzzle was originally created for Edwin Ladronde from Cusco, Peru, who promotes traditional Inca culture near Machu Picchu. The design reflects the iconic stepped Inca symbol that appears in many historical patterns and carvings. Despite its simple appearance, the box cleverly separates into six interlocking pieces.

Your mission is straightforward: open the box and reveal the hidden “Inca gold” nugget inside.

This puzzle was intentionally designed to be very accessible and easy to solve, making it a perfect introduction to mechanical puzzles. It’s the kind of puzzle that anyone can enjoy — even if they’ve never solved a puzzle before.
