This clever packing puzzle was designed by Alexander E Holroyd and the goal is to fit all 9 acrylic pieces flat into the tray without overlaps.
It was entered in the Puzzle Design Competition at the International Puzzle Party in 2018 hosted in San Diego and won an honorable mention as one of the top 6 puzzles in the Jury Awards.

Excellent puzzle. You will convince yourself it is impossible then be kicking yourself when you've finally worked it out. Great for teasing your friends.
This is a beautiful puzzle. All of the pieces fit perfectly when you know the solution. The manufacturing is also very good. The surfaces are smooth and clean, with no scratches or abrasions. The fact that it has so few pieces makes this puzzle look deceptively easy. I love to show it off to friends and confuse them.
Even with knowing the solution the pieces just wouldnt fit properly in the box. I went so far as to try different combinations of the pieces to make the same solution and different degrees of angle in the box. No luck. I have bought other puzzles from Puzzle Masters and am pleased. But this one is just a poorly made dud.
