Product Info
A brilliantly designed puzzle box made entirely from 3d printed parts! The new moon puzzle box features a sliding pieces puzzle on the dovetailed lid of the box, and the bottom has a recessed rotating dial. The box requires several steps to open, and just when you think you have puzzled it out, you discover that there's more than meets the eye! The beautiful white color accents the phases of the moon that are displayed on the box.

I will try not to spoil the exact steps, but there are two main parts to this puzzle's semi-disappointing solve. The first is perfectly fine and is mainly as you see, but the second is very finicky and also made little sense given the clues + very little tactile feedback. Granted, I'm not great with riddle/symbolism-esque puzzles, so I'm sure there's some logic behind the clue interpretation, but myself and others (including Mr. Puzzle himself) came upon the final solution through guided accident and previous knowledge of a certain type of mechanism. I think the puzzle as a concept is great, but the execution is not great. Not only in guidance, but in printing quality as well. Lots of piece warping, as well as stray filament clumps in various areas. I'm still new at 3D printing, and I know that I could get a more quality print. All in all, good concept, but poor quality and overpriced.
