Product Description

A fascinating lock made from metal. This lock doesn’t need a key to open. Instead, your task is to move the slider horizontally and pull the platform so you can open it. Over 300 moves are needed to open this sequential movement puzzle designed by the German Jean Claude Constantin.

Very cool puzzle. The look is interesting and beautiful, and makes a fine display piece. The puzzle mechanic itself is really neat as well. The reason I gave this only 4 stars was that the little slider can be unscrewed (thought I found a special trick or tool), at which point the whole thing falls apart and the mechanic becomes way more obvious. That, and once the method is discovered, the only way to solve it is to do a lot of repetitive movements. Other than that it's a super cool puzzle, and I highly recommend it. I would love to see more wood puzzles in metal form!
