This solid metal puzzle lock is a real tough one! It's intriguing look features 8 metal screw-style dials on the front of the lock and a brass peg and keyslot on the back of the lock. The key is obviously not the only trick to opening this one! Sanyojan actually translates to "combination" from the Hindi language. A gorgeous and substantial lock that begs to be played with!
These locks are hand made, there are slight variations in each lock. These are replicas of ancient Indian locks. They are made to look old but in fact, are brand new. They are perfect for the puzzle enthusiast and collector and make a stunning display of craftmanship.

Very nice puzzle, good looking and well built. Unfortunately it's really really easy and doesn't take more than 15-20 minutes. I think it's a great as a collection piece but extremely poor as a "Level 10" puzzle. Hence the middle-of-the-road rating.
Pros : - Well built - Looks good - Fun Cons : - Took less than 20 minutes to do - Absolutely not a level 10 puzzle. If I had to describe it, I would say its "tricky" which places it at around a level 6. Level 7 would be the absolute upper bound. It is definitely not a Level 10 "Mind Boggling" puzzle, at least in my opinion. It not the first puzzle that I buy on Puzzle Master that is rated a level 10 but turns out to be much simpler than stated. I wonder if the puzzle manufacturers tend to overestimate the difficulty of their puzzle because it makes them appear more desirable. For a fantastic puzzle that absolutely deserves its Level 10 rating and isn't too expensive, I would recommend the Titan puzzle (either the original brass version or the less expensive aluminium version).
This was the first puzzle I bought. I have alway found puzzles really cool but never found one that was interesting. This one caught my eye. So I purchasers it. I consider myself to have a high mechanical comprehension. With that being said this level 10 puzzle only took me about 25-30 mins to solve and I understand the mechanics. Not sure if I’m good at them or if it’s not actually a level 10
