Scion of the Tesseract – Multi-Stage Sequential Discovery Puzzle
Scion of the Tesseract, by Kris Antibus and Brian Lin of Kimera Kreations, isn’t your average cube puzzle—it’s a multi-layered mechanical journey packed into a 3-inch cube. Though it looks simple from the outside, the designers spend 10–12 hours assembling each puzzle. The goal is to find the small "scion" cube buried within. You will find tools to use along the way.
Layered solve structure: The puzzle begins with trick-box style mechanisms, transitions into disassembly, and ends with a hidden compartment finale—essentially an SD within an SD.
Compact complexity: Despite its small size, it contains 75 parts and 40 embedded magnets that assist flow, retention, and “magic moves” within the puzzle.
Polished experience: Moves are engineered for smoothness, with each stage meant to flow into the next, revealing secrets along the way. The carbon fiber edition includes a gold colored stand that is perfect for display!
