Made from solid brushed aluminum, Internal Combustion is an ingenious design where the object is to free the four interlocked pistons from the chamber. The pistons have notches and look just like ordinary Burr pieces, so you need to learn a correct sequence of movements if you want to put them back in the chamber. Designed by Tado Muroi in the early 1900’s and produced by our PuzzleMaster shop in Canada.

I got all of the blocks out pretty quickly...within minutes. But, I just can't get the blocks back in. I need to get directions to return the puzzle to it's original format.
This is one excellent puzzle. I found that it can be put back in different ways, thus the solution changes. In terms of difficulty, I would rate it no more than 7, but other than that it is just a cool one.
A good idea for a puzzle like this. Amazingly structured. Easy to disasemble once you figure what the inside structure is like, but hard to asemble once you disasemble it.
A relatively easy challenge to get it apart. My 7 year old son even got that. The real test is to try and get it back together, especially if you are not watching the order in which pieces came out, and from where. Good value for the money. Get's your guests interested in puzzles quickly.
Hard to put back together...Fun to watch other people struggle to get it apart..
I found it easy to take apart. As with most puzzle, it is harder to put back together. I'd rate it a skill level 7. It should baffle friends and beginner puzzlers just fine.
