The Turnip Puzzle was created by the talented Russian designer Vladimir Krasnoukhov for IPP29 (International Puzzle Party) which was hosted in San Francisco in 2009.
The puzzle consists of 12 elements or pieces.
The goal is to complete the following objectives:
1) Using all 12 elements of the set, make the 20 shapes as pictured in the instructions.
2) Using all elements of the set, make simultaneously 3 shapes the silhouettes of which are identical.
3) Take 3 elements of the set and make a shape shich can be made using all 12 elements of the set.
