Smuggler is a tray packing puzzle by Lucie Pauwels that looks simple at first glance but hides a clever challenge. Crafted from Ovangkol pieces along with 4 Maple bars, the puzzle requires you to fit all components flush within the tray. The twist comes when you attempt the second stage: hiding the four Maple bars inside the arrangement, which demands precise alignment of the notched pieces.

With 168 possible assemblies for the main pieces, 30 ways to include three bars, and only one unique solution with all four bars, Smuggler offers escalating difficulty that keeps puzzlers engaged.
