The Minotaurus Box transforms Jürgen Reiche’s beloved double‑maze concept into a beautifully crafted wooden puzzle box.

Inside the lid are two independent mazes, each controlled by its own stainless‑steel peg. To open the box, both pegs must be navigated through their respective labyrinths at the same time, requiring synchronized movement, careful planning, and a steady hand. The top layer of the maze slides back and forth as you progress, revealing new paths while blocking others, creating a dynamic puzzle that feels alive as you manipulate it.

One wrong move sends you into a dead end, forcing you to retrace your steps and rethink your route. But when the two pegs finally reach their target recesses, the mechanism releases—and the box opens with a deeply satisfying finish.

Crafted from laser‑cut wood, acrylic, and stainless steel, the Minotaurus Box showcases the signature precision and playful ingenuity of Siebenstein‑Spiele, the Münster‑based workshop founded in 1992.
