In my opinion, this is one of the better puzzle boxes at this price point. It looks beautiful, and the difficulty is perfect, in that you won't figure it out in under a minute, but you'll feel accomplished opening it up for the first time. Successive openings are still satisfying, and if you open it enough, you'll get good enough to do it rather quickly, despite the long time it will probably take you on your first attempt.
The only real downside to this box is that it can be hard to fit a non-paper gift inside. If you are planning to put a non-flexible gift inside with any one dimension greater than about an inch, you may have trouble fitting it in. I should also mention (and this is a bit of a spoiler...) that the box requires you to turn it from right side-up position to open and close it, so I would recommend not putting anything fragile inside. Otherwise, this is a great box, and I am very happy with it.
