Designed by Jean Claude Constantin and presented at the International Puzzle Party as an exchange puzzle by Allan Stein (IPP42 was hosted in Tokyo, Japan 2025), this clever two-layer packing puzzle is both elegant and devious. It features 8 precision-cut wooden pieces, each with two star-shaped holes, and 8 colored anodized metal pegs.
Your goal: pack all the pieces into the frame in two perfect layers so the pegs can be inserted into the aligned star holes, sitting completely flush with the surface. A satisfying blend of geometry, logic, and visual planning that rewards patience and precision.
