Originally featured as an exchange puzzle at the International Puzzle Party (IPP41) that was hosted in Houston, Texas USA, it is a creative design meant to delight seasoned puzzlers.

The Challenge

You are presented with a wooden tray containing two affixed gears secured under a clear acrylic cover. Inside, six loose gear wheels and one smooth, non-geared wheel await their escape. Your mission? Navigate the internal mechanism to release every piece through the sliding door at the base—and then find the perfect configuration to pack them all back in.
