Product Info

The Traffic Light is a tremendously attractive sequential puzzle box.  You must solve and remove the red, yellow and green cylinders. Then find a way to open the top cover and access the compartment within.

3D printed in Black, Red, Yellow, and Green PLA* filaments. It features a huge compartment of 18cmx7cmx3cm (7 x 2 3/4 x 1 in) and can hold a gift or message to the player, which makes it a perfect gift for a special occasion (Birthday, anniversary etc..).  The player will need to solve the puzzle to access the item placed within the center compartment.

* PLA is a renewable/biodegradable material made from crops such as corn and sugarcane. It has a low melting temperature and will deform if placed inside a car on a hot summer day or directly under the sun for a long period of time.

A nice little puzzle box - looks very handsome on the shelf, but up close 3-d printing lines are clearly visible. Puzzlers with steadier hands than me could probably sand those down. The puzzle is well made and feels sturdy. Parts move without sticking or grinding The solution is very satisfying, with each stage being enjoyable. I liked seeing the inner workings - it feels like the puzzle telling you how it works as a reward for solving that step. The challenge rating of 8 feels a little high - probably should be closer to 7 (maybe 7.5) Overall, I loved solving this puzzle and strongly recommend checking it out.

It’s a nice SD puzzle. Took me a while to get started but once the first step is done, the rest come quite easily. The only frustrating thing is that I don’t know how I’m doing the last step, despite solving it several times. I don’t think I’m doing it the intended way. It’ll be interesting to see someone do the “correct” solve. Great puzzle though.
