I'm totally new to these puzzles. In my first order I got an easier one (it wasn't all that easy) and this one. Now, two weeks later, I finally had to resort to the video showing the process, but I still want to figure it out on my own so I only watched the video once then promptly forgot all but the first trick to unlocking this box. That helped. But I'm still stuck and I feel like a puppy dog trying to get at something on the other side of a fence, sticking its snout and paws through it rather than walking around to the other side. So I give this top rating but for me, a reasonably smart guy who can build things, this is fascinatingly difficult. I will eventually get it, or resort to the video, following step by step, but that feels like defeat. The cost of the puzzle is high but then the entertainment value is too.

It's everything I wanted from this puzzle. It wasn't tough by any means. It is something that even a child could solve if given enough time. You can easily just figure this puzzle out through trial and error without taking much time, which is exactly what I wanted from this. It is extremely satisfying to play around with and you don't have to think too much to figure out the solution. The construction is also very beautiful and sturdy and it gives you a very small space to store some small prize if you want to. There are only two things that drop the rating from 5 stars to 4 stars for me: the box can be VERY squeaky and at the end, you can't close all the panels after opening the box, which is a little unsatisfying for me.

Amazing! The box is very well crafted and looks beautiful. This is definitely the most difficult puzzle box that I have ever attempted to open, including some higher level boxes. With most puzzle boxes, you can generally try several next steps to determine how to unlock that step, but this puzzle requires a significant investment of logic and move mapping. Incredible. And very difficult. I spent many hours and created several 'labels' to be able to open this one (level 8 seems too low a difficulty rating).
