Tokyo Safe was originally created as a special gift for IPP 2025 in Tokyo.

At first glance, it looks like a tiny Japanese safe — but unlocking it is anything but straightforward. The puzzle consists of four parts: two rotating 4x4 mazes and two half-pins marked with the Japanese flag. Your task is to navigate both mazes at the same time without being able to see them. Only then can you pull the safe apart and reveal its hidden compartment.

Inner compartment is a small cylindrical space that measures 1cm diameter by 4.2 cm long
