L3NS – Sequential Discovery Puzzle Box | A Mechanical Puzzle Disguised as an SLR Camera

This isn't just a camera — it's a cleverly crafted puzzle box designed to intrigue, challenge, and surprise. Made to resemble a vintage SLR camera, this 3D-printed puzzle is packed with mechanical secrets hidden beneath its detailed exterior.

This handcrafted puzzle is 3D printed in durable PLA and assembled with care using over 30 magnets and 9 metal screws and nuts, giving it a solid, satisfying feel. It’s a sequential puzzle, meaning you’ll solve it step by step — each small discovery unlocking the next.

No instructions. No brute force. Just observation, logic, and a bit of trial and error.

  • Looks like a camera, but it’s really a puzzle
  • Difficulty: Moderate (3/5)
  • Solve time: 15–30 minutes
  • Hidden compartment inside (approx. 80 × 35 × 20 mm)

I wanted to like this puzzle, but the solution and price make it hard to recommend. It’s not a level 8—more like a 6 or 7 at best. If it were 20–50% cheaper, I’d call it a fun addition to a collection. I enjoyed it, but wouldn’t buy it again.
