Product Info

The Right Angle Prism is a classic science toy that explores light physics.  Prisms work by bending (refracting) light, because light moves slower in the glass than it does in the air.  White light is made up of a mixture of different colors of light, which move at different speeds, so they get bent by different amounts.  The colors fan out into a rainbow, which is called dispersion.
