This amazingly detailed build-it-yourself puzzle box kit is an extreme challenge. Assembly is recommended for adults with experience building models!
Once you have completed assembly, you will have to perform 116 movements to open the puzzle box! And that is the key word of this mechanical puzzle, the CHALLENGE. If you're up to it, you'll be amazed at the level of complexity this enigmatic cube has demanded. The box includes multiple sliding and rotating mechanisms, as well as working miniature led lights.
This secret box represents with meticulousness and finesse a lively and enigmatic city in which people live in multiple dimensions next to each other, but without ever crossing paths. It's also a way of winking at relativity, especially with the 3 stairs at the back of the box.
You will have as much pleasure in solving the puzzle as in immersing yourself in the universe of these multidimensional cities.

I had previously built the Mecanigma kit, so thought I would give this a go. It is definitely not for the inexperienced ! Many hours to complete . I did purchase a pair of wire strippers that would work with the very small gauge wires for the lighting system. Extensive sanding and polishing was required to make sure all the pieces moved smoothly once assembled. As with the Mecanigma , I chose not to use lacquer on the wood, but instead used a wood balm, and prefer that look to pictures I’ve seen of the lacquered version( never mine the time saved ). Assembling the kit does make it easier for the builder to open, but I let it sit for a few weeks before trying and it still took me quite a while to open. I find the joy is in the building and passing it around to others to give it a try. Makes a great display piece as well. Shout out to Puzzle Master for quick shipping and price.
After watching Chris Ramsay feature this puzzle on his YouTube channel, I had to order the kit. I know that the assembling process of the Architecto puzzle is going to be a huge undertaking, but I'm well equipped with past experience of puzzle building. As I was growing up I had always loved building plastic models, with the most difficult being a 502 part Lamborghini Countach that took me over two months to put together, with painstaking attention to detail of every piece. I immediately saw the potential of making MY Architecto in to a one of a kind. With this puzzle, you have the rare opportunity to create one of the most incredible pieces of art in puzzle form in your own decorative style! I can't wait to begin creating my own unique piece of art! A big shout out to the creator of the Architecto!
