Irrweg translates from German to "wrong way". That may likely be the case as the objective is to try and maneuver the string around the frame, which is inhibited by three rings, to the opening that will allow the string to be removed. A fun disentanglement puzzle with a challenge!
Based in Munster, Germany, Siebenstein-Spiele was founded in 1992. Although the company is mainly known for board games, Siebenstein-Spiele also makes many wooden puzzles, several of which have been designed by company founder Jürgen Reiche.
