This is a small hand crafted wooden puzzle box which comes in black, brown, red, blue and green colors and is surfaced with shiny lacquer. It is a great conversation piece to set on your table. As its name implies, this beautiful, uniquely designed box was made in Romania.
Please note that there may be very slight variations in dimensions and design because of their hand-made nature.
Inside compartment measures approximately 5.4 cm x 3.3 cm x 1.8 cm / 2.1 in x 1.3 in x 0.7 in.

Beautiful little box, but very disappointed in quality. It's pretty delicate. The sliding mechanism broke after only a couple uses (being very gentle - anyone really trying to get in there would've just snapped it off), and the lock and key barely worked to begin with. The positioning for the key is finicky at best, and the key itself bent out of shape. I love the concept of this box, just wish it was sturdy enough to withstand puzzle-solving.
