Product Info

This is an interactive box with various puzzles, which have to be solved one after the other to open the box. In other words, this is an Escape Room in a handy format! There is nothing based on randomness, but only on logical decisions.

The Story:
London, 1720. Ian Kensington, captain of the British Engineering Forces, is responsible for the first successful recovery of a sunken ship. In the report to His Majesty King George I of England, Kensington mentions Davy Jones' locker for the first time. Despite it being a real artifact, he describes the locker in the context of a legend about the sea devil Davy Jones, who supposedly locks away the wandering souls of all sailors who lose their lives at the sea. It is told that on each sunken ship, he hides a replicate of the locker, promising to release all souls if someone manages to open the box. Since the first find, similar lockers were found in shipwrecks scattered around the world. Some of them are still kept in private collections, others in museums. However, nobody has been able to reveal their secret so far.
We are sure that you are the one, who will finally be able to open the locker and force Davy Jones to admit his defeat.

The cluebox consists of 72 individual parts which are precisely cut from high quality birch wood using the finest laser technology.

Great puzzle. Took me about an hour to solve and was neither too bar nor too easy. As with most laser cut wood puzzles the mechanics are not always the smoothest but all around great puzzle especially for the price.

This puzzle was surprisingly good for the money, with multiple puzzles to solve and a nice look to it. I’m tempted to buy the rest in the series.

It took me about 1 hour to solve. I bought all the three "Cluebox series" and each one of them has amazing different solutions. it took me about one hour to solve. the thing I like about these kinds of puzzles is that it doesn't have just one thing to do and that's it. No, you have several layers to solve. The more layers you solve, the more satisfied you'll be. Highly recommended.

Great puzzle box! Took me almost 3 hours because I got caught up on a step and really went down the wrong path before realizing that every piece of info I needed was on and in the puzzle box. A good challenge!

I thought this was really fun! A little tedious at times, but the mechanics are cool, interesting, and flow well. The construction is great. This was my first wooden sequential discovery, and I'm definitely looking for more!

Very fun puzzle box with several different levels of puzzles to solve before gaining access to the inside. I had a good time solving this one. The only thing i wish was a bit better is the quality of the wood.

It is a very satisfying well built puzzle box. I think the only thing to keep in mind is to play fair. You can potentially figure out some of the puzzles just by feeling the correct combination like lock picking, so sometimes you might get tempted to do that, but don't. It is easier than the Nautilus puzzle in my opinion.

It was the first sequential puzzle box I did with my girlfriend and we had such a blast. Took us about an hour to solve, taking really complete notes and being thrilled on each step of the way. The craftmanship is really impressive and of high quality. Every piece that was supposed to move did it smoothly. Highly recommend it. Now it will make a great piece of decoration and we might also use it when giving a gift card to a friend or family member (but we'll keep the box, of course).

Favorite puzzle I’ve done. Everything makes sense and although like people noted it wasn’t impossible or anything, it was enough of a challenge for me. It took me like 2.5 hours since I messed up one of the steps for a while, but it seems like the range of time is like 45 mins- 2.5/3 hours which I think is ideal too. Each mini task is fun within itself and it’s a super well designed puzzle. Great job to whoever made this one!

Very satisfying puzzle! It did take a little while but I was able to figure out what all of the clues meant and how to use them. Very creative! I really like the variety of tasks to do. It's nice that this is sequential discovery and not just a "figure-out-the-mechanism-and-you're-done" type puzzle...Keeps you engaged and makes the fun last a lot longer. Now my 11 year old son (very bright) is working on it with a few hints here and there and thoroughly enjoying the process as well!

Good puzzle, took about 45 minutes to complete. One of the pieces that was ready to remove was stuck and I thought I hadn't correctly solved that part. Otherwise not too challenging and good fun.

Not really 10, I'd say 6. As there are 3 tasks there and all are really easy but time consuming. In general - good puzzle box, so can recommend.

Spectacular sequential discovery puzzle. Not really that difficult, don't let the "10" difficulty level scare you. It just takes time to get through each step but all the information is there and with logic and critical thinking, everything can be worked through. No guessing or luck needed. I went slow and took about 2.5 hours. I made some wrong turns but was put back on track when new information revealed itself. Really satisfying upon completion and I highly recommend the experience.
