Product Description
The Cast UFO is a great puzzle to solve using inspiration and logic. The mission is to "take off". You will need some dexterity to solve this puzzle. The shape of the puzzle is exactly like that of a ufo. Even if you try to take out the spherical pieces that are in the center, they move around and run away, so the solution is hard to grasp.
Designed by Finnish puzzle designer, Vesa Timonen

The puzzle looks interesting but takes it apart is painful. I was looking for a solution for a very long time, I found out the key points that you need to know in order to unravel. But I couldn't take the puzzle apart. When my fingers started to hurt, I started looking for a solution on the Internet, and even after that, with great difficulty, I managed to take this thing apart. Even if you know how to disassemble this puzzle, it is still difficult. What can we say about the process of finding a solution ... Therefore, we can say that the puzzle is difficult, but not because it is difficult to find a solution, but because it is difficult to take it apart.
Don't be fooled by it's pretty exterior, this puzzle is ugly on the inside... Cast UFO doesn't seem to be designed well enough for Hanayama's casting process. As the other reviews state, there is a good chance the copy you get will not come apart! I have been attempting to disassemble WITH the solution for over a week now, and I'm confident mine is a brick that will never open. Aside from taking a screwdriver to it. Even if mine worked, I have to say the solution is more "luck" based than I'd like. The puzzle doesn't give you enough information to solve it entirely by logic, leading you to slide the pieces around aimlessly. On top of that the pieces are frustrating and slippery to move around. This adds up to a frustrating puzzling experience with the only real positive being "It looks pretty". If you want the same idea but with better execution/design, try the cast DIAL, MARBLE, or my personal favorite DONUTS instead.
same from myside,, I've spent more than 50 hours ,, and still cannot get it even with the solution?? seems my item is bad made.. made in china..
I have a friend with the same puzzle, we got it at the same time. We both worked on our side, he eventually found the solution, so we met and he showed it to me. I tried the solution on mine, it didn't work, he tried, it didn't work. So we googled the solution online, tried it, it didn't work. Feels like I got a broken one. Also the solution is not satisfying and is particularly frustrating (for me), I wouldn't recommend it.
